There is no such thing as an achievement, when the mind is trained not to acknowledge it.
Too often, we scoot through life, having no time to stop and smell the flowers. While negative events easily get our attention, positive events and little wins slip past without us noticing. This may seem like no big deal, but it is.
Our subconscious mind is like a TV station. What we tune into, is what we see in our life. If the subconscious is tuned to misfortunes and sad stories that is what we will see more of, in our life and those around us. However, the reverse is also true. If we tune our subconscious to noticing little victories and fine beauty in life, that is what we will see more of.
So, let us start a practice this month, as a group, to stop and celebrate!
As we embark on our journey, for the rest of 2016, lets take a few minutes to acknowledge what the first half of the year has brought us.
- Think of one positive thing you have done this year, that you didn’t do last year.
- Find one new item in your house, that you didn’t have last year.
- Close your eyes and ask yourself, ‘what positive quality/habit have I adopted this year, that I didn’t hold last year?’
- Give thanks and bless these little wins, so you can have more reasons to celebrate come Christmas.
Post your answers to these questions above on our Facebook page, for your fellows to read, appreciate and support you.
